Yes, it's almost 4 in the morning. Yes, I'm awake.

This Holy Week devotional is rough, and I didn't really have much time to do it.

Creativity is not necessarily an easy thing to do. I'm used to writing when I'm compelled to write. I'm used to writing when there's something inside me that needs to be birthed or else I'll freak. As much as I should be used to deadlines, I'm not used to trying to force something out of my fingers to get done that will be creative. I think what's really hard is that I have so much freedom, but the freedom is with a type of writing that I'm not really familiar with. I'm a writing intern, so I want to write a substantial amount in this devotional, but I was also told to make it contemplative or reflective. I don't know how to write in a way that causes someone to be reflective.

This isn't going to be as long a post as normal. I'm too tired and I'm still working on having something to give my internship supervisor tomorrow. My lack of product isn't because of a lack of effort, but I'm not getting a whole lot done right now.
